Directions
From I-5: From either direction:
Take exit 252 which is the Main St/Ferndale exist. At the top of the ramp, turn left (east) onto Main St. Stay on Main Street as it turns into Axton Road. Go about 2 miles to the four way stop at Northwest Dr. Greenacres is on your left.
From the Guide Meridian:
Take Axton Road (which is between Laurel and Smith Roads) and go west to Northwest Dr. Greenacres will be on your right at the corner.
From Northwest Dr.:
Take Northwest Dr. to Axton Road (which is between Laurel and Smith Roads). Greenacres is at the corner of Northwest and Axton.
Chairs: Please bring your own folding chair if possible.
Parking: There will be both handicap and other parking available within the cemetery. Directions will be given out at the entrance.

Where can I get more information?
How do I get to the Festival of Flags?
Moles Greenacres Memorial Park is located at 5700 Northwest Drive in Ferndale. We are on the corner of Axton and Northwest Drive.
Do you have vases available for flowers?
We have a limited supply of temporary vases, or we can assist you in purchasing a permanent vase.
How do I find a grave?
Our office is open for grave locations or other questions this Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Will there be handicap parking for the Festival Program?
Yes, enter at the front gate and the parking attendants will direct you to handicap parking.
How long will the program be?
There is an hour of Festival Concert , from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The Remembrance Ceremony starts at 2:00 PM, and lasts until 3:00 PM. At 3:00 PM is the Festival Reception, with more music, food, a chance to visit with Pearl Harbor Survivors, a Thank a Soldier activity for the kids, the Pakawalups (40’s style singing trio).
Is there seating available for the program?
There is very limited seating. You are encouraged to bring your own lawn chair.
How long will my flowers stay at the graveside?
Flowers and other decorations will be removed on Monday, June 6. If you want your flowers or decorations back, you must remove them prior to Monday, June 6.
I put flowers out earlier and now they are gone. What happened to them?
Sadly our cemetery, like many others, has experienced theft of flowers and decorations from graves. Our park is open 24 hours a day, and it is impossible for us to patrol it constantly. We do apologize if your flowers or decorations are missing.
What sort of flowers or decorations can I put out?
Normally we allow only fresh flowers during the mowing season (March-September), however we do make exceptions for holidays such as Memorial Day, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day. Any decorations you wish to keep must be picked up prior to Monday, June 6.
Is the office open today?
Yes, during Memorial Day weekend our office will be open Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
How long will the flags be up?
We’ll be flying the flags from 9:00 AM on Saturday, until 5:00 PM on Monday.
How do I find a flag that is flying at the park?
We have a map of the flag locations in our office. Our office hours for Memorial Day weekend are
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
